SUMMER HOURS FOR DEADWOOD HISTORY
DEADWOOD – Deadwood History, Inc. (DHI) will begin summer hours at the Adams Museum, the Days of ’76 Museum, and the Historic Adams House on June 1, 2020, open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through September 30, 2020. DHI has made necessary modifications, standards, and practices to our properties in order to minimize the effects of COVID-19. Masks are only required for visitors to the Historic Adams House and Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center, but masks are not required for visitors to the Adams Museum or the Days of ’76 Museum.
Admission to the Adams Museum is by donation; the Days of ’76 Museum is $8 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 – 12 and free to children 5 and under; the Historic Adams House is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 – 12 and free to children 5 and under. Discount museum passes are available through October at all three museums, the Deadwood Welcome Center, History and Information Center, and the Stage Stop on Main Street.
The Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC) will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday by appointment. Please call 605-722-4800 for more information.
Free admission is offered to the Adams Museum, Days of ’76 Museum, and Historic Adams House for all Deadwood History members. Membership helps fund a variety of museum programming by providing history enrichment opportunities to thousands of children and adults both locally and globally.
