DEADWOOD – Deadwood History, Inc. and the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission will host a presentation by author Kellen Cutsforth on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC), 150 Sherman Street, Deadwood. Kellen Cutsforth will present an entertaining and informative look at the early days of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show. It covers the adventures in America of an Englishman who became an unlikely partner in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West and helped save the business from early financial ruin.
Kellen Cutsforth is the author of numerous books about the Old West with an emphasis on Buffalo Bill’s Wild West. He provides ghostwriting services for numerous books and publications. Cutsforth has had more than fifty articles featured in such publications as Wild West, True West, and is currently a columnist for Western Writers of America’s Roundup magazine. He lives with his family in Littleton, Colorado.
