Paranormal Investigations of the Adams House

DEADWOOD – Deadwood History, Inc. and Black Hills Paranormal Investigations (BHPI) will host Paranormal Investigations of the Historic Adams House on October 4 and 5, October 11 and 12, and October 18 and 19, 2024, at the historic home located at 22 Van Buren Street, Deadwood.  Visitors will participate in a real paranormal investigation with professional paranormal researchers.  Investigations are offered at 6:00, 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and limited to 20 people per tour. You must be at least 12 years old to participate.  Ages 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Group psychic readings with Dani Jo Butler, owner of Sacred Soul LLC, will be available following each paranormal investigation in the gentlemen’s smoking room for $25 per person.  Must be an adult to participate and limited to eight people per session.  These are group sessions and individual readings are not guaranteed.  Advance reservations are required.  Purchase tickets online at DeadwoodHistory.com or call 605-722-4800 for more information.

Long regarded as one of Deadwood’s most haunted sites, participants will search for paranormal activity in the Adams House using parascopes, para-lanterns, the Tempest, Rem-Pod, Onvoy ghost box, Pharaoh Box, Flux 2, Ovilus, digital audio recorders, laser grids, divining rods, K2’s, and EMF meters.  Learn the history behind the darker stories associated with the home on an exclusive ninety minute paranormal investigation.  The BHPI team will discuss documenting and analyzing the results of possible paranormal phenomena during the investigation and explain the findings from past investigations of the Adams House.

Black Hills Paranormal Investigations conduct investigations in South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming, Northwest Nebraska, and Southwest Montana. BHPI is dedicated to the study of paranormal phenomena. The group uses scientific methods, systematic processes, skepticism, and logical thinking for data collection and analysis. BHPI does not enter an investigation looking to prove paranormal activity or a haunting is taking place, they simply allow the evidence to tell the story.

Dani Jo Butler is a Psychic Medium in the Black Hills of South Dakota who is bringing healing and a connection to the Divine for all who encounter her. She is a spirit-guided intuitive, teacher, author, and healer bringing love and light for those local and worldwide. Butler will be performing group readings in the gentlemen’s smoking room in the turret – this area of the home is not typically available to the public.
