Papermaking Youth Workshop

DEADWOOD – Deadwood History’s Papermaking Youth Workshop will be held at the Days of ‘76 Museum on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The workshop is suggested for students in grades K-6. The program is free but reservations are required. Reserve your spot today by calling Deadwood History, Inc. Unleash your child’s creativity while learning about sustainability. Kids in grades K-6 are invited to roll up their sleeves for a hands-on papermaking and recycling workshop that is as fun as it is educational. Using old mail, scrap paper, flowers, and even flower seeds, young artists will transform everyday materials into beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind creations to take home. This engaging and eco-friendly experience fosters creativity while teaching the importance of recycling in a memorable, hands-on way.
